Bowling No Longer On Strike
The era of the “mom and pops” bowling alley is essentially a choose your own adventure saga that was already facing many twists and turns. Mind you, this was even before the COVID 19 pandemic had (for good reason) effectively shut down many bowling alleys in Washington State for the past five to six months. This included the infamous Kent Bowl in Kent, Washington.
However, the state heard their (all of the bowling alleys’) collective cries for help and released the following Phase 2 guidelines to help bowling alleys re-open.
So tonight, on Friday, September 4th, 2020, Kjell7 News is proud to report that Kent Bowl has re-opened their doors for business. As newly formed bowling league members, the Kjell7 News Team was able to be at Kent Bowl for opening night tonight. We shared laughs, triumphs, downfalls, and beers. Strikes, gutters, spares, no one cares. The community is simply pleased to be able to safely bowl with proper COVID guidelines while having fun with friends and family, while all the while supporting small businesses. Kjell7 News, reporting.
